Perfect substitute to the ordinary wheat spaghetti or macaroni. Spaghetti squash is low in calories, carbs and sugars. Makes a great addition as a side dish.

Ingredients
1 medium spaghetti or orangetti squash (about 2-3 pounds)
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400 F.
Slice the squash in half lengthwise from the stem to the tail. Remove any seeds.
Place the squash on a baking sheet, cut-side down. Cover loosely with aluminum to minimize over roasting.
Cook for 35 - 40 minutes or until the squash flesh is tender and separate easily.
Scrape off the squash with a fork. Gently pull the flesh from the skin and separate into strands to resemble spaghetti.
Serve immediately.
