Pan Seared Scallops

Easy and quick pan-seared scallops that can be made in minutes. Pairs well with curried cauliflower, vegetable porridge, or mushroom frittata.

  • Yields: 4 Servings


12 oz. fresh sea scallops

1 tbsp. of olive oil

salt and pepper to taste


1Rinse and pat dry the scallops.

2Season the scallops with salt and pepper.

3In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

4Gently place each scallop on the heated skillet. Sear for about 1 ½- 2 minutes on each side (depending on the size of the scallops).
