Salmon fillet seasoned with miso paste. Miso paste is Japanese soy beans paste that has been fermented for a certain period to get the umami (savory) flavor. Marinate salmon for at least half an hour or overnight in a refrigerator.
Miso & Ginger Sauce
1In a bowl, marinade salmon with miso sauce. Marinade for at least 30 minutes or overnight in a refrigerator.
2Preheat the grill/griddle pan. Coat lightly the griddle with cooking spray before cooking the salmon.
3Place marinated salmon on top of the griddle and cook for 3-5 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
4Serve salmon with cooked spinach and lemon slices, if desired.
