Chimichurri Pork Chop

Chimichurri is an Argentinian-style herbs and spices sauce. Although, in this recipe, chimichurri sauce is served with a pork chop, you can substitute pork chop with other types of lean protein such as poultry, beef, or fish.

--FOR PORK CHOPS 4 ( 3 oz. ) boneless pork chops 1 tsp. of olive oil ½ tsp. of kosher salt ½ tsp. of ground black pepper --FOR CHIMICHURRI SAUCE 1 bunch of parsley leaves 1 bunch of cilantro leaves 2 tsp. of dried oregano ½ medium onion, cut into chunks 2 large cloves of garlic, chopped 1 tbsp. of olive oil 2 tbsp. of wine or apple cedar vinegar ½ tsp. of chili flakes ½ tsp. of kosher salt 1-2 tbsp. of water


--TO MAKE CHIMICHURRI SAUCE-- In a food processor, blend all chimichurri ingredients. Set aside. Store chimichurri sauce in an airtight container and place it in a cool, dry place (refrigerator).
