Blackened Tilapia

Simple and quick fish recipe. You can substitute Tilapia fillet with Basa, Halibut, Cod, or any white fish.

Ingredients

2 (3 oz.) Tilapia fillet or any white fish 1 tsp. of roasted garlic paste ½ tsp. of ground smoked paprika 1/8 tsp. of chili flakes or chipotle 1/8 tsp. of ground cumin ¼ tsp. of kosher salt ¼ tsp. of ground black pepper 1 oz. alfalfa sprouts 1 kiwi, peeled and thinly sliced Cooking spray to coat the skillet

Directions

In a small bowl, combine roasted garlic paste, paprika, chili flakes/chipotle, cumin, salt, and pepper together. Rub the dry rub mixture to the fish liberally. Heat the non-stick skillet lightly coated with cooking spray. When the skillet is hot, place the seasoned fish. Over medium heat, cook for 3 minutes on each side or until cook thoroughly. Serve blackened fish with sliced kiwis, alfalfa sprouts, and roasted garlic if desired.
