Spiced Eggnog

Bariatric friendly eggnog with nonfat milk. This recipe does not contain eggs and alcohol.

  • Yields: 2 Servings


2 cups of nonfat milk

3 whole allspice, crushed

2 cardamom pods

3 whole cloves

¼ tsp of ground nutmeg

2 tbsp of fat-free vanilla pudding


1In a small pot, combine all the ingredients over medium heat.

2Bring to a boil. Stir occasionally. Make sure do not over boil because high heat can scorch the milk.

3Lower heat. Simmer covered for 15 minutes.

4Remove from heat and separate the spices with a cheesecloth.

5Enjoy warm or iced.

6Optional: Mix whey protein powder just before serving.
