Lemongrass Ginger Tea

This uplifting tea is easy to make and would be a perfect addition to your teatime.

  • Prep: 5 mins
  • Yields: 2 Servings


2 oz of fresh ginger root, peeled and diced

1 stalk of lemongrass, chopped

5 Melisa leaves (optional), chopped

2 cups of hot water

1 green tea bag


1Combine all ingredients together. Let it steep for 5 minutes or more until the water color changes and the aroma of the lemongrass and ginger starts to become aromatic.

2Strain and discard the solids from the liquid.

3Serve tea warm or chilled.
